Stylish Bryan Starr
Bryan Bartlett Starr was born on January 9th in the year 1934 and he passed away on May 26th in 2019. He was an American football quarterback and coach. Bryan first played college football at the University of Alabama, and then was picked up by the Green Bay Packers in the 1956 NFL draft in the 17th round. He played for them until 1971. He’s the only quarterback in the whole history of the NFL to lead a team to three consecutive league championships, which he died from 1965 to 1967.
Bryan has also helped his team win in the first two Super Bowls: I and II. He became the head coach for the Green Bay Packers where he wasn’t as successful as he had been playing for them and ended up with a 52 to 76 to 3 record from 1975 to 1983. In the year 1973, Bryan won the Golden Plate Award of the American Academy of Achievement. He was also chosen to be part of the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame in the year 1981. One of the most interesting things about him is that Bryan Starr has an NFL award named after him. The Athletes in Action/Bar Starr Award is given out once a year by a panel of judges to an NFL player who best exemplifies outstanding character and leadership in the home as well as on the field, and in the community.
Here is his record as a coach, which is less successful than his amazing career as a football player.

Here are his NFL stats, which fare much better, since Bryan was a much better quarterback than he was a coach.
